Blog Post #4 - Plans for revision
My plan for finishing my Research Proposal (and the rest of the semester) is:
10/28 - Finalize the rough draft and submit it in Canvas (this includes working on the research design and methods, the preliminary implications, and the conclusion sections).
10/31 - Work on the Abstract following the instructions given in class. Add the Abstract to the Research Proposal.
11/06 - Meet with Dr. Bacabac to go over any hiccups I have in the document and to receive feedback. Changes will be made to reflect the feedback and any additional information will be added to the Proposal.
11/12 - Finalize my Research Proposal by checking all the formatting, re-checking for typographical errors, reading through to ensure everything is understandable, and then letting the document sit for a few days. By this point, everything will start to look the same. ;)
11/19 - Look at my Research Proposal one last time and submit it to Canvas.
11/21 - Work on oral presentation
12/04 - Oral presentation
12/11 - Finals
By following this plan, I will be able to finish the Research Proposal without too much stress, I hope.
I appreciate your plan. It reduces my stress just reading through it. I dream of completing my work early enough to take a break from it and then return fresh eyed. Its inspiring to know someone out there is actually pulling it off. I'm going to go complete something right now because I'm jealous! Nice work Michelle!
